A Foundation of Educational Excellence

Dr. Eric Berman graduated with honors from the University of Chicago and completed his medical degree at State University of New York-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. After finishing his internship at Long Island College Hospital in New York, he completed his ophthalmology residency at State University of New York-Downstate Medical Center.

Dr. Berman completed fellowshp training in neuro-ophthalmology, orbital and oculoplastic surgery at the University of Minnesota. He served as a full-time faculty member in the Departments of Neurology and Ophthalmology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine in Rochester, New York, and is currently a clinical associate professor at the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. Dr. Berman is one of fewer than 500 neuro-ophthalmologists in North America and has authored numerous journal articles, chapters in medical texts and various health-related television programs. He is co-author of the book MRI and CT, Clinical Neuro-Orbital Anatomy, published by the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
